Recipe | Tiramisu

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs yolks
  • 250g mascarpone cheese (or 1 tube)
  • Sugar (to taste)
  • Vanilla
  • Half a cup of coffee (room temperature)
  • 2 tbsp cacao or matcha powder
  • 12-16 ladyfingers

Instructions

  1. Make the coffee and leave it to cool down in the fridge
  2. Separate egg whites and yolks, and keep only egg yolks
  3. Whisk egg yolks, sugar and vanilla until slightly fluffy
  4. Double-boil the mixture until it becomes fluffier
  5. Add mascarpone and whisk until well combined
  6. Dip ladyfingers in coffee. Do not soak.
  7. Add a layer of ladyfingers, then a layer of cheese mixture and repeat
  8. Dust cacao or matcha powder on top
  9. Refrigerate overnight
